Help CAAWS with these special veterinarian bills

6/1/10--Meet max.  A sweet 2 year old Shih Tzu who has a liver shunt.  Max was lovingly surrendered when his owner couldn't afford his liver shunt surgery.

Max

Max has been to LSU and been diagnosed with an external shunt that is totally fixable with surgery.

The estimate is $2000 for everything.  Any donations will be and prayers will be greatly appreciated.

Update 6/18---Max was seen by a surgeon in Mandeville yesterday the 17th.  He is cleared for surgery on this coming Monday June 21st in Mandeville with Dr. Hancock.  Updates will follow after the surgery.

Max will be available for adoption after his surgery.
