Foster Home Program

Capital Area Animal Welfare Society is in need of new foster homes! We can only save as many as we have space for, and maybe you can give us just that little more space!

CAAWS relies on the volunteers who give their time, love and home to our foster animals. The cats and dogs CAAWS takes care of have never had a stable home life or have lost their home through some misfortune. If you have a little space in your home and a lot of love in your heart, please consider becoming a foster parent!

A foster parent provides love, companionship, shelter. You can even provide basic lessons on how to be a good dog or cat. The foster parent is also responsible for bringing the pet to adoption days on a regular basis.

CAAWS provides a healthy, spayed or neutered animal. CAAWS will also provide food and any medical care necessary and medicines for heartworm and flea prevention.

Please contact us at caawsmail@yahoo.com if you're interested or fill out the online volunteer application. We could really use you!
