The following animals are available for adoption through CAAWS. These animals are not normally at Saturday adoption days so please call or email if interested in one of these animals so that we may arrange an appointment for you to meet them. These animals are owned by the public and are in need of new homes. For more information on adopting one of these animals, please call 752-5801 or email caawsmail@yahoo.com. Click the small picture to see a larger picture of the animal.
To place your pet's photo and profile on this page, there will be a one time fee of $20. The photo will run until the animal is adopted and will also be placed on petfinder.com. Your contact information will remain private. Please follow the following instructions to have your pet placed on this page.
Email several digital photos and a profile of your pet along with your contact information to caawsmail@yahoo.com. You may then mail the required fee to CAAWS, bring it to the CAAWS building on Saturdays or send it immediately using PayPal.

Shenene
She-ne-ne is a 21 month F/S Calico. She-ne-ne is what we
affectionately refer to as a special needs case. She is a sweet cat that
does well around dogs (and we think kids but are not sure). She is FIV
positive so she needs to be the only cat in the family. She also has
reoccurring Urinary Tract Infection problems and is on a special diet that
she needs to stay on for it. She-ne-ne can be seen at Jones Creek Animal
Hospital
(225) 753-0527 at 5525 Jones Creek Rd Baton Rouge, LA .

Luna
This cat was taken on as a stray by my next door neighbor 2 years ago
and then they stopped feeding her. I have seen her have litter after
litter of kittens and couldn't watch anymore. I brought her into my
home to have her latest litter and have found homes for all but one of
them, which i'm working on, and now she needs a loving home. Her name
is Luna and she is probably 2 1/2 years old.
She's
a little rough due to fighting and living as a homeless cat, but she's
very sweet, gets along with cats and dogs as well as children. She
really deserves a family of her own.

 This
kitten is a 7 week old male and is very sweet and friendly. I
rescued him from my yard and have kept him, his mama, and
brothers here since their birth. He is the last one to find a
home, so I hope someone will have a special place in their home
for this wonderful kitty.
