Tree Kitty AKA "Jane"
Tree Kitty (now named Jane), was found abandoned off of Burbank in a busy subdivision, living in a hole in this large oak tree.

CAAWS to the rescue

CAAWS came to the rescue and took the kitty into the foster program.
Jane was taken to the vet and underwent tests for FIV and Feline Leukemia, both of which were negative. She then got her shots, was spayed and she went to her foster home.

Jane becomes "Fearless"

Now Jane has become very brave and is described as "Fearless".

Jane is all black and beautiful. She has lots of personality and can be bossy if other cats allow it.

Jane in her tree after a nap

If you walked up to the tree and called, she would stretch and come out of her hole to be petted or fed.

A neighbor named Katie spotted the kitten and was feeding her while trying to find a permanent home for the kitten.

Meanwhile, neighborhood dogs were roaming the area each night and it was obvious that TK Jane would not last long if she didn't find a new home.

Jane adapts

Jane adapted quickly and started sleeping on her foster mom's lap while watching TV and made friends with the other foster cats in the house.

Jane visits PetSmart weekly

Jane goes to PetSmart  on Airline almost every Saturday and is available for adoption. If you are interested in Jane but can't make the Saturday time, call or email and we can arrange a special appointment for you to get to know T.K. Jane.
